Not adjustable/practical enough
This is the first cymbal stacker I’ve tried. I went for it because it has more adjustability than the most basic straight stackers. But while well made, it just doesn’t allow you to set up two cymbal on 1 stand in and ergonomic manner. This is because the rod is surprisingly tall, meaning that the two cymbals will be about 20 cm apart from each other in terms of height. Unless you like playing with one cymbal very low, the stacked one will be uncomfortably high. You can adjust the rod angle to tilt the higher cymbal towards you, but then the cymbal also gets closer, covering the lower one. This is a problem in general, you cannot change the angle without changing the cymbal position, and vice versa. Also consider the fact that you need to take apart your cymbal tower each time you pick a different lower cymbal, which requires you to unscrew the stacker and then reattach it with a tuning key. It’s not particularly practical. In my opinion this is a product that looks good in theory, but is not practical. And to be honest, it also looks really dorky on your kit, and I’m generally not even particularly concerned about looks if something works well.
